1. Cala Loca
An exclusive seaside resort set in a natural cove in the heart of the Beigua Geopark, in Piani di San Giacomo, Varazze (SV). At Cala Loca, a company part of the Think Fwd Group, you can relax after a long day of work at the Factory, under the Ligurian sun, cradled by the waves of the sea.
Cala Loca beach is a cove with clear and clean water included in the “Blue Flag” locations for 14 consecutive years. Furthermore, it is certified by www.friendofthesea.org as the first sustainable private beach in Italy
Discreet and quiet, the beach guarantees a truly unique experience. You can also decide to taste street food, freshly cooked with raw materials from local producers, on the beach, or in the panoramic pitches distributed along a staircase leading to the sea.
2. Surrounded by nature
For those who want to spend a week fully absorbed in nature, the Riviera del Beigua offers the possibility to wander between the sea and the mountains, even on the same day.
Actually, excursions can be organized in the mountainous areas immediately behind the towns overlooking the sea and, in the afternoon, enjoy the sunset with an aperitif and dinner while admiring the thousand colours of the sky and the sea as the day falls.
Or alternate with days spent in total relaxation thanks to sailing boat trips or mountain excursions or visiting the “superba” Genoa, half an hour away from the Factory.
3. A dive into history and art
The Beigua Park can, for sure, consider itself the ideal place for those who want to spend their holidays hiking and, more generally, to practicing physical activity. Thanks to the small distance between the sea and the mountains, it is possible to enjoy the countless paths that climb, more or less gently, along the slopes of Mount Beigua. But not only. For lovers of walking or cycling, it is possible to travel along the longest seafront in Europe which connects all the towns from Arenzano to Savona. Along this route, you will be able to enjoy both the breathtaking views that nature offers, as well as admire the work of artists who, in the stretch of Albisola marina, wanted to embellish the pavement with their works. Finally, after a day spent discovering the beauties of the area, rest in front of the sea waiting to enjoy a delicious aperitif right at Cala Loca with the sea in front and surrounded by nature!
5. Golf, golf and more golf
Fans of this sport well know that holidays cannot be separated from the presence of a course, preferably with 18 holes. And here you will be satisfied! An appreciated 18-hole course is available on the Beigua Riviera, a few minutes’ drive from the Factory, but there are also other facilities, a little further away, ready to welcome expert players, beginners and those who want to approach this sport.
After the circuit, immediately go to Cala Loca, to enjoy the last rays of the sun in total relaxation, sipping an aperitif overlooking the sea.
